Aunwesha launches LearnITy version 2.0

Circuit EC / Kolkata

Kolkata-based Aunwesha Knowledge Technologies has recently launched LearnITy version 2.0. LearnITy is based on advanced Internet technologies in compliance with global e-learning standards like ADL, SCORM, IEEE and LTSA. It empowers users to access, create and share valuable information across an extended organisation and can be used for:
  • Designing, delivering and administering online training programmes
  • HR programmes like induction programmes, sales and management training, training on soft skills.
  • Online education instructor-led classes for schools, colleges and training institutes.
  • NGO training for field workers like disease eradication programmes, nutrition and hygiene programmes.
  • Product training for customers.
  • Agent training for insurance and financial institutes.
  • Creating online test programmes.
  • Delivering distance learning over the Internet for educational institutions or over VPN for corporate houses.

Avijit Guha, director, Aunwesha said, “LearnITy is perhaps the simplest solution available to date, compared to other international solutions with matching capabilities. If content is available in any electronic format, a simple online course can be built from scratch and uploaded within days of using LearnITy. For content creation LearnITy provides simple but powerful GUI tools like Course Designer or Assessment Designer.” He added that Aunwesha has already initiated work on the next version that would be released by the end of the year, as an enterprise class e-learning/knowledge management solution for the global market.

Aunwesha operates in the niche IT segment of e-learning and knowledge management. The company is jointly floated by the Venture Capital Fund for Information Technology and Webel (West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation).
