TECHNOLOGY - Expertise for Technology Adoption

Three-dimensional storage
Imagine a scenario where storing a hundred movies on a single disc that sits comfortably in the palm of your hand is possible. This technology, which uses holographic techniques to store data, is being aggressively pursued by major storage companies across the world.

Beyond Reporting: Getting value out of your data
Traditionally, IT has left R&D, quality control and treasury communities to work in isolated silos. As analytic applications developed, and these areas have gained acceptance in the mainstream (business), IT has had the challenge of integrating them into the IT architecture.

Chasing a product dream
When we look at successful software companies, we think of products. We think of MS Office, Oracle database and SAP’s ERP system. We long to see an Indian company in that list. The fact that an Indian company is not a part of this list is often taken as criticism of the Indian software industry. We feel convinced that the quality of work being done by us is not something to write about.

What is storage virtualisation?
The best definition of virtualisation is probably data abstraction. The technology involves taking multiple physical storage devices and combining them into logical storage devices or units that are presented to the operating system, applications and users.
