FLEXCUBE available on Oracle 10g

Alan Payne

i-flex solutions has said that FLEXCUBE is available on Oracle’s 10g infrastructure software that has been designed specifically for grid computing.

FLEXCUBE will henceforth run on Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Application Server 10g, which support open standards and runs through a simpler, automated data centre to enable business continuity.

“Financial institutions worldwide are operating in an increasingly competitive and volatile business environment. Faced with the challenges of complying with global and local industry regulations and protecting their data, they institutions depend heavily on technology,” said N K Raman, Chief Operating Officer, i-flex solutions.

“The global financial services sector, being complex and unpredictable as it is today, is most in need of robust, low maintenance, high performance and high availability solutions, said Alan Payne, Vice President, Financial Services Industry, Oracle Asia Pacific.

FLEXCUBE on Oracle 10g offers financial institutions flexibility and cost-effectiveness in aligning their IT resources with business priorities. It supports open standards and out-of-the-box interoperability with numerous third-party applications and tools. Application Server 10g will unleash the power of web-based technologies replacing legacy networks. Financial institutions will now be able to reduce the complexity of middleware.
